29 JAN - CBC PREMIER - Village, Turf and Oaks all win - Stannington Village continued for their title pursuit with a 5-1 home victory over a workmanlike Brinsworth Whitehill side that are more than likely now out of the race. Danny Abdulla gave Village the lead when he played neat return passes with Joe Barker; and the former scored with a shot off the underside of the crossbar. Moments later Whitehill were level thanks to Liam Favell and that’s how the score remained to the hour mark when Village regained the lead, a lead they would never relinquish, Adam Todd supplied a good cross and Alex Torr volleyed in at the far post. Torr then extended it when skipper Lee Johnstone played him in, before completing his treble when Abdulla found him in space and the striker finished with a twenty yard strike. The nap was complete when Cory Mann passed to Arnie Grayson who finished well at the second attempt. Staying in contention are FC Handsworth Turf as they overcame relegation threatened Brinsworth Phoenix 2-1.
Turf took the lead after ten minutes when Tom Crosby headed against the bar and Pip Miskell smashed home the rebound. Phoenix levelled though when Karl Fox latched onto a Kieran Goff ball which encouraged the home side to push on. They created chances with substitute Ricky Davidson, full-back Danny Leesley and also Ryan Goodison all going close before making it count with a winner when Davidson was brought down by the Phoenix keeper and Russell Hobson fired in the resultant spot kick. The teams were grateful to referee Brent Marsh who took the game at very short notice after the original official had to pull out injury. Action from the game is below - pictures by Mick Moat.
Norton Oaks “A” maintained their mid-table security with a 6-2 win over a City Taxis side that are six points away from safety. Oaks took the lead through Liam Paterson but three rapid goals on the half hour mark made it 4-0; goalscorers being Paul Knapton, Danny Reet and Dale Kay. Taxis were given a lifeline when they were awarded a penalty on the stroke of half time which Scott Westney converted. Westney scored his and his side’s second early in the second half before Alan Mowforth and Reet’s second of the game made it 6-2. The home side could have had more but for plenty of missed opportunities and Reet missed a chance for his hat-trick with the last kick of the match from the penalty spot. DIV 1 - Owen treble keeps Woodseats on the title track - Only a couple of matches in Division One, and Woodseats Club are looking good for two successive promotions as they won at Ecclesfield PL. This result sends them seven points clear of second placed Oughtibridge WM and with a game in hand too. Woodseats went 4-1 ahead at the interval with an impressive opening salvo but a closer second half saw them home 5-2. Joe Knight and George Sheen scored for Ecclesfield who remain the bottom two, whilst a Nick Owen treble and singles from Liam Bryan and Sam Read netted for the leaders.
The huge game between third placed Intake Old Boys and Oughtibridge WM was postponed as was bottom of the table Dale WMC’s hosting of fourth placed Killamarsh Juniors so they only remaining game in the second tier was Penistone Church play host to a Ranch just above them in the standings. The game went the way of the home side with a 2-0 triumph with an opener from Lewis Dickenson and a clincher on the break in the second half from Sam Scrivens. Mikey Thomas hit the post in the first half for Ranch but they were let down by a lack of finishing.
DIV 2 - Woodhouse and Colley both win as rest get called off - There were only two games also played in Division Two as games between Crookes and District and Norton Sportsman, Steelers, The Shakey and Civil Sports “B”; and Woodhouse Village and Norton Oaks “B” fell victim to either waterlogged or frozen pitches. In the two games played, Colley clambered to sixth place with a 3-1 away win at Cadbury, Joe Buxton scored twice and Josh Buxton once for Neil Whitworth’s men, Grant with the consolation goal in the final minute for the hosts. Tom Bland also scored a brace as Woodhouse Juniors won 3-0 at Woodseats Chantrey; Keiron Tobin-Sykes with the other as the visitors move up a place to eighth.
22 JAN - CBC PREMIER - As you were at the top - After It was a case of as you were as the top three sides in the CBC Premier Division all won their respective games, but for City Taxis there seems to be a glimmer of hope after a much welcomed home win. Leaders Stannington Village had Alex Torr to thank as they overcame a resillent Brinsworth Phoenix 2-1; a result that keeps Phoenix in the bottom two. Torr gave Village the lead when he latched onto a through ball from Bill Green and confidently chipped the home keeper. The visitors continue to press and went close to a second with Green hitting a post, and Torr and Jack Ridge having efforts saved. Torr did double the lead though when he found the far corner of the net following good set up play by Ridge and Charlie Hobson. Dean Jepson could have extended it further, but despite Nathan Darwent heading in late on – the three points were Village’s.
Second placed FC Handsworth Turf had a new signing to thank themselves as they won 2-1 at home to relegation threatened Civil Sports “A”. Turf took the lead when skipper David Haggerty found Phil “Pip” Miskell who nodded the ball past the advancing visiting custodian and then squeezed the ball into the unguarded net. Civil levelled matters when a Jordan Stocks mistake was pounced upon and Danny Parker scored his first for the club. Turf then brought on new signing Rikki Davidson, formerly of Civil, Redmires and Woodhouse Angel, and he proved to be the game winner: latching onto a pass before firing the ball with power into the net. Davidson had hit the post five minutes beforehand.
Redmires stayed in touch with a 3-0 home win over mid-table Norton Oaks “A”. After the hosts had missed an early penalty, the talisman that is Jon Wall scored a first half hat trick to put the game beyond doubt. Despite Norton having the best of the second half, they couldn’t find a way through and the scoreline remained unchanged. Action from the game is below.
Bottom placed City Taxis had a splendid result of their own as strikes from Shaun Robsco and Lee Hackett’s wonder volley in the first half saw off last season’s champions Wadsley Bridge Pheasant 2-0; which gives Taxis a lot of hope and Pheasant looking over their shoulders. In the final CBC Premier game, hosts Hallam and visitors Woodhouse Angel shared six goals in an entertaining 3-3 draw. Jack Waddle, with a brace, and Yasin Omar scored for Hallam whilst Angel got a point thanks to a double from Chris Towey and a single strike off Mitch Husbands.
DIV 1 - Woodseats extend their lead, while Southey shock Penistone to end the League's last unbeaten record - With second placed Oughtibridge WM’s game against Killamarsh Juniors postponed due to a frozen pitch, Division One leaders Woodseats Club had the chance to extend their lead to four points with a win against AFC George. George started off well taking the lead through Michael Blythen but Lewis Whitaker restored parity by half time. After making some changes, Keith Cronin gave Woodseats the lead but George refused to lie down and Blythen’s second of the morning made it 2-2. Something extra special was needed and Liam Bryan provided it with a sumptuous solo effort to win the game for Woodseats.
The surprise result of the day came to some as Penistone Church suffered their first league defeat of the season as Southey Social inflicted a 4-0 loss on them. Southey took the lead when Scott Ellis found John Mellor and he slotted it beyond the advancing Penistone goalie. Penistone huffed and puffed but were finding the home defence a tough nut to crack. Josh Sugden rifled home a nice finish for 2-0 and Mellor extended that to three with a headed goal but Southey saved the best until last when Adam Danks picked the ball thirty yards out and smashed it into the top corner of the net.
It was a red letter day for the Burbeary family as both Ash and Gavin scored for Chapeltown RBL in their 5-2 win over a plucky Dale WMC side that seem to be right out of luck. Gaz Murdoch opened the scoring for Dale with a stunning strike in the twelfth minute before Ash Burbeary levelled from distance eight minutes later. Andy Varns put Chapeltown ahead on the stroke of half time but after Liam Hogg was upended by RBL keeper Ben Palmer; Stefan Rankine levelled matters. Palmer was then sent off for a professional foul which meant Sam Walch had to go in goal. Against the odds Gavin Burbeary headed the hosts in front and then it really went crazy in the final minute. With Dale pushing for a third and keeper for a corner; the ball came out to Ash Burbeary who raced half the pitch and rolled home number four before scoring a hat trick goal on debut with a fine thirty yard chip moments later.
DIV 2 - Village back in the groove, but Oaks suffer from the Shakes - Both the top two in Division Two were out of action due to frozen pitches, Norton Sportsman at Cadbury and Cobden View at Woodhouse Juniors so third placed Woodhouse Village could have gone second, in between them, with a win at home to Steelers and they did just that. Inspired by Chris Salt, Woodhouse came away with a 4-1 win with three of the four coming in the first half. Ryan Simmonite scored and Salt himself were on target as Village looked to bounce back after last week’s game between the same two sides. Greg Burgin made it four when he turned home a Ollie Grady free-kick, whilst Joe Armitage’s strike proved to be just a consolation for the visitors who remain mid-table.
Fourth placed Norton Oaks “B” suffered a shock as they were defeated 5-2 by bottom placed The Shakey; a result which could seriously hit their promotion hopes. Shakey were good value for their win as braces from Billy Hilbert and Didici Sergiu plus one from Joe Woodhouse completed the nap against a home side who never got going but netted themselves thanks to Sam Wells and James Borrill. Finally, Civil Sports “B” remain on the fringes after beating Crookes and District 4-0; Alex Knight scoring a hat-trick and one by Alex Cowlishaw for Dave Firth’s men. Colley’s home game against Woodseats Chantrey was abandoned after quarter of hour following a serious playing injury to one of the visiting team who we wish all the best to.
15 JAN - SUNDAY SENIOR CUP - Bath sinks Fitzwilliam Arms to help Remires to semi-finals - After knocking Sunday Senior Cup holders Westville out in the previous round, two Andy Bath strikes helped Redmires to a sensational 6-3 victory over last season's beaten finalists Fitzwilliam Arms in the quarter final, putting Redmires through to a second successive County FA Sunday Senior Cup semi-final for a Blades Super Draw League side. Dave Knaggs’ men got off to a flying start in the first ten minutes with goals from Jake Gamban, George Rudd and Andy Bath. Fitzwilliam pulled one back with a fortuitous strike but Jon Wall’s superb left foot volley restored the three goal advantage at half-time. The visitors made it 4-2 after Redmires switched off a bit but Bath’s second of the morning and another from Conal Jacklin extended it to 6-2. A third visiting goal came in the closing stages, but by then it was just consolation.
CBC PREMIER - Top two held, but Whitehill beat Civil - Stannington Village was held to a 2-2 draw by Norton Oaks A, as were FC Handsworth Turf at Woodhouse Angel, but Brinsworth Whitehill thrashed Civil Sports A 5-1. With Redmires in the above Cup action, both Stannington Village and FC Handsworth Turf could have extended their gaps in the CBC Premier Division with wins. However, both had to settle for 2-2 draws. In their game at Malin Bridge, Stannington took the lead when Ben Cook was sent tumbling under a clumsy challenge and Adam Todd sent the Norton Oaks “A” keeper the wrong way. Former Sheffield Wednesday striker Danny Reet then scored twice, once a re-taken penalty after encroachment, to give the visitors the lead in the second half. Cook and Danny Abdulla hit the woodwork as Village pushed for a leveller, and just as Norton thought they’d won: Lee Johnstone crossed perfectly for Alex Torr to share the spoils.
That result would have seen FC Handsworth Turf go back to the table if they had won the local derby at Woodhouse Angel, however they were denied by a late equaliser. Turf took the lead when Jordan Stocks flighted in a free-kick and Greg Taylor provided a bullet header home. Angel levelled through last season’s CBC Premier top scorer Mitch Husbands and that’s how it stayed at half time. Taylor’s second of the game regained the lead for Turf, again from a Stocks set-piece and it took a penalty five minutes – converted by Laney – to secure neither team had bragging rights.
In the final CBC Premier Division game, Brinsworth Whitehill completed a seven day double and increase Civil Sports “A” ‘s relegation fears with a 5-1 home win. Brinsworth controlled the game from start to finish and were ahead when Cory Goodwin played in Adam Daughtrey and he coolly lobbed the Civil keeper. Goodwin then was on the end of a good team move and doubled the lead just before half time. Daughtrey’s second made it 3-0 in the second half only for Ben Brown to fizz home a shot distance straight from the restart. Civil were reduced to ten men with quarter of an hour left and Daughtrey completed his treble almost after. Brinsworth then took the chance to bring on Joe McGuinness who had been missing with a long-term injury, and he rounded up the nap when he tapped home from an unselfish delivery from Adam Pursehouse.
DIV 1 - Woodseats go top - Woodseats Club went top of Division One after beating second place Intake Old Boys 3-1 and Oughtibridge WM were surprisingly beaten 4-1 at AFC George. Killamarsh Juniors beat Dale 2-0, while Ranch won 3-1 at Ecclesfield Players Lounge. Woodseats Club are the new leaders in Division One after they won at fellow promotion rivals Intake Old Boys and then leaders Oughtibridge WM suffered a surprise loss at AFC George. In the game of the day in the second tier, Woodseats took the lead through Keith Cronin which Intake believed was offside and Liam Bryan extended it in the second half. Jack Heald pulled one back from the spot after he had been upended in the box and Intake pushing for the equaliser, Woodseats countered and Bryan’s second of the game secured the points for the points. AFC George put a dent in Oughtibridge WM’s plans to return to the top flight with a 4-1 home win and also boosted their own challenge to avoid relegation. Mike Blythen scored twice to give George a lead only for Chaz Tunnard to pull one back after Strachan Sampson had crossed for Dave Hudson’s men. Chance after chance went begging for the visitors, and Blythen then added two more to extend the advantage and secure the win. Tunnard and Oughtibridge’s day was summed up when the striker also missed from the penalty spot.
Closing in on the leaders are Killamarsh Juniors as they beat relegation threatened Dale WMC 2-0. Matt Stead gave the hosts the lead with a toe poke of a finish and then provided the corner kick which Joe Glover got his head to and secure the win over a spirited visitors team. Also in relegation trouble are Ecclesfield PL as they slumped to a 3-1 home loss to Ranch. Ash Betts opened the scoring with a nice finish into the top corner and Tom Evans finished off a good move to double the lead by time the half time whistle went. Betts’ second of the morning with a superb first time finish made it 3-0 and put the game beyond Ecclesfield, Scott Touhey pulled one back late on as a pure consolation.
DIV 2 - Norton Sportsman go top after Cobden held by Woodhouse Juniors - Division Two also has new leaders after Norton Sportsman beat Civil Sports B 7-1 and previuos leaders Cobden View were held to a 1-1 draw by Woodhouse Juniors. Woodhouse Village were losing 4-0 at Steelers when the game had to be abandoned, while Crookes & District beat Shakey 3-2.
Norton Sportsman are back on top of the Second Division as they overcame Civil Sports “B” 7-1. A tight first twenty minutes could have gone either way but two goals in five minutes gave the hosts a 4-1 lead that they would never relinquish. Then Mark Fereday took control and scored a hat-trick in twenty second half to put the game really beyond doubt. A couple from Chris Lewis, a Brad Bowland penalty and one from Sonny Wilson were Norton’s other scorers whilst Mitch Seymour scored Civil’s only strike.
Leaders at the start of play Cobden View now slip down to second after being held to a 1-1 home draw with Woodhouse Juniors. Richard Higgins scored for Cobden whilst Matt Megson was on target for visitors who put in a dogged performance and deserved something out of the game by all accounts. The bottom of the table clash went Crookes and District’s way by the odd game in five over The Shakey. Two goals in the opening quarter hour from Chris McNally and Johnnie Butler gave the hosts an advantage, which they never let go. Joe Samwell pulled one back for The Shakey only for Say to restore the two goal margin. Will Hilbert’s strike made it a one goal game with ten left but inspired by Man of the Match Luke Jackson; Crookes held on for a vital three point haul.
In the final game in the division, Steelers were leading third placed Woodhouse Village 4-0 with twenty minutes to go when the referee decided to abandon the game. Fraser Oxley (twice), Callum Barnett and Callum Shaw were the goalscorers. A decision on the actual game will be made obviously in due course. All other games were postponed due to waterlogged or frozen pitches.

Semi-Final made draw 'Live' on
Radio Sheffield -
The draw for the Blades Super Draw League Twentytwo Cup semi-finals,
made live on Radio Sheffield by Football Heaven's Andy Giddings, produced
the potential for either an all-CBC Premier final, or an all-Division One
final - and should that happen it would be only the second time in League
history. The full draw is CBC Premier FC Handsworth Turf v Division One
Woodseats Club and CBC Premier Norton Oaks A v Penistone Church. Both ties
will be at the HSBC Sports Ground on Sunday 2 April and both will kick-off
at 11am.
8 JAN - SUNDAY JUNIOR CUP - Bryan treble helps Woodseats through - The last of the Sunday Junior Cup Quarter Finals saw Liam Bryan hit a hat-trick as Woodseats Club comfortably won the all Blades Super Draw League tie at hosts Penistone Church to go through to the semi-finals for a second successive year. Earlier in the season Penistone had beaten Woodseats 5-1, but the tables were turned full circle by the rampant visitors and it was Woodseats turn to run out 5-1 winners.
Woodseats started the game on the front foot and took the lead as early
as the third min of the game when a corner was sent to the back post and
Sam Read rose above the defenders to power a header into the back of the
net. It didn't take Woodseats long to extend their lead when a quick
break from defence ended with Penistone keeper James Birch needing to
make a great save, but he could only parry the ball into the path of
Liam Bryan and he steered the ball into the empty net. Penistone pressed
hard to try to get back into the game before half time, but the
Woodseats defence marshalled by Russ Westby (right) stood firm.
Penistone started the second half by continuing to press and they should have reduced the arrears when an open goal went begging in a scramble in front of goal, but the disciplined Woodseats defence stood firm again and when another quick break by Woodseats earned them a corner, Read again produced a terrific back post header for his second of the game. Just a minute later it was Bryan's turn to score his second of the game when he put the finish touch to yet another swift break out of defence to effectively kill the tie off.
Bryan then completed his hat trick when he took advantage of a mistake by the Penistone defence and although Penistone got themselves a consolation goal when Lewis Dickenson scored the goal of the game with a fine solo run and finish it was too little too late. Penistone had a chance to reduce the arrears still further when they were awarded a penalty, but the normally reliable Tim Council missed the spot kick, although the tie was well out of their reach by then. It means that the Blades Super Draw League is certain to have one team in the final as Woodseats joined fellow Blades Super Draw Division One sides Chapeltown RBL and Ecclesfield Players Lounge in the last four.

The day's top league game saw Sean Flynn's goal (pictured left) at FC Handsworth Turf
enough to send Stannington Village back to the top of the CBC Premier. The
game's only goal came after just five minutes when Ben Cook cushioned Adam
Todd's cross into the path of Flynn for him to bend the ball past the
keeper. The second half saw Turf have plenty of possession and they almost
equalised when Pip Miskell hit the bar, but the Stannington back five made
sure they didn't see the goal too many times, and when they did, keeper
Nathan Ryan looked unbeatable. Ryan made saves from Turf skipper David
Haggerty, Mario Esposito and Tom Smith, and Russ Hobson headed wide, but
it was Stannington that had the best chance when Alex Torr went through,
but he could only slice his shot wide. More action from the game is below

Brinsworth Whitehill kept their title challenge in tact as two Adam Daughtrey strikes helped them to a 3-2 win at Civil Sports A. Brinsworth took the lead through Daughtrey following good work from Jed McGowan and Daughtrey added his second with a superb lob from 25 yards out. Brinsworth should have scored a couple more with Ross Johnson hitting the post and Danny Willis missing a one on one, but it was Civil who got the next goal when everyone missed a Josh Corker free kick from out wide and the ball went straight in. Brinsworth restored their two goal lead just before half time with a Tom Coker tap in after the Civil keeper could only parry a Daughtrey free kick which the keeper saved. Brinsworth almost added a fourth when Liam Favell took it round the keeper ready to tap home, but a Civil defender came out of nowhere to clear it off the line. After the break, Favell forced a great save out of the Civil keeper, but Civil hit back when they were awarded a penalty and Harley Wilson scored from the spot. This gave Civil a boost and they got on top for the last twenty minutes, but Brinsworth held out to take the points.
Norton Oaks A also kept their challenge going with Danny Reet strikes in each half giving them a 2-0 win at City Taxis. Reet's first was a delightful chip over the advancing keeper and, after Taxis had missed a glorious chance to equalise, Reet's second was a low drive into the corner after shrugging off a defender. Taxis gave it their all after that, but the Oaks defence held firm. There was also plenty of praise for referee Steve Clarkson. Action from the game is below.
Woodhouse Angel's chances took a hit with a 3-2 defeat at relegation strugglers Brinsworth Phoenix. Jack Hawkes, Joe Statham and Dan Commander goals won it for Phoenix, with Angel replying through Mitch Husbands and Chris Towey. Another relegation struggler to win was champions Wadsley Bridge Pheasant, who climbed out of the bottom three as Dylan Parrott's second half penalty proved to be the game's only goal at Hallam.
DIV 1 -
Alex Ripps Southey to shreds to send Intake level at the top -
Intake Old Boys went level with Oughtibridge WM at the top of Division
One as four Alex Rippon (right) goals helped them to a 5-1 victory at in-form Southey.
Patrick Lindley squared the ball for Rippon to net his first and he hit
his second from Joe Lancashire's through ball. Rippon completed his
hat-trick when he pushed home the rebound from a Lancashire shot, but
the fourth was all Rippon's own work when he went past four defenders
before hitting a left foot shot past the keeper. Josh Sugden pulled one
back for Southey, but Intake had the final say when Jack Heald was
felled in the area and he picked himself up to score from the spot.
Fourth place Killamarsh Juniors stayed in the promotion race as an Ashley Drabble double helped them to a 3-1 victory over Ecclesfield Players Lounge. Callum Wood headed home a Chris Savage cross to put Killamarsh ahead, while Drabble's both came from two Montelle Kamara corners. Ecclesfield had plenty of the game, but could only find the net once through Mark Groves, although Gav Hunter went close when he hit the bar.
Chapeltown RBL's hopes took a dive as relegation threatened AFC George went home with the points after a 3-2 victory. George raced into a two goal lead with a Michael Blythen penalty and a Tom Hunt goal, but a wonder strike by stand-in skipper Tom Duty got Chapeltown back into the game. A slick move saw Tuxford feed Andy Varns and his crisp finish brought the sides level. With Chapeltown pushing hard for the winner, George caught them with a quick break and Luke Kingswood hit their winner.
Ranch climbed two places with a 3-1 victory at bottom club Dale WMC. Stef Rankine put Dale ahead, but Ranch instantly replied with bullet header from Tom Evans. Ranch took the lead at the start of the second half when Connor Brunt touched home a free kick. Dale squandered a great chance to level when they were awarded a penalty, but it was squandered and instead it was Ranch that made the points safe with Liam Price scoring a contender for goal of the season.
DIV 2 - Sportsman spoil Cobden's view at the top - Division Two's top game saw leaders Cobden View lose their unbeaten away record as second place Norton Sportsman beat them 2-0 to go just a point behind them with a game in hand. After a tight first half, Sportsman should have gone ahead when they were awarded a penalty, but Brad Bowland couldn't convert it. Just five minutes later though they did break the deadlock when Callum Frith smashed home after Bowland had chested the ball into his path. Sportsman clinched the points with ten minutes remaining when James Archer netted their second. Cobden did their best to get back into it, but the Sportsman defence held firm and they have now conceded just one goal in the six home games so far.
Third place Woodhouse Village are also just a point behind the leaders after their narrow 3-2 win over The Shakey. Ryan Simmonite hit Village's opener from thirty yards and Theo Wilson squared the ball for Perry Jackson to double their lead. After Ben Hilbert had pulled one back for Shakey, Jackson returned the compliment for Wilson to restore Village's two goal lead with a header. After the break Village had the majority of the game, but the nearest they came was when Simmonite hit the bar and after Hilbert hit his second for Shakey it left Village nervously holding on.
Fourth place Norton Oaks B broke their record for the number of games won in a season with their 3-2 victory over fifth placed Civil Sports B. Joe Taylor gave Civil the advantage until Nasa Meah levelled with a penalty. Mark Turton gave Oaks a half time lead, but Taylor's second brought Civil level until a Ryan Freeman winner gave Oaks their record. Tom Shaw and Leighton Buck doubles helped Steelers to an impressive 6-2 victory at Colley. Dane Appleby and Ishmael Willis netted Steelers others while Steve Dickinson and Josh O'Connor netted for Colley. Woodhouse Juniors also had an impressive victory 5-2 over Crookes & District.
Tom Bland, Matt Megson, Matt Gane, Jack Cassim and Tom Howard all netted for Woodhouse, while Matt and David Ward netted for Crookes. After Grant and a Holmes penalty had twice given visitors Cadbury the lead, Woodseats Chantrey hit back for a more narrow 3-2 win. Chantrey first equalised with a Brad Gray penalty after Danny Lonsdale had been brought down and it was Lonsdale that grabbed their second equaliser just before the break. Chantrey won it with a Gavin Sambrook goal fifteen minutes from time.
8 JAN - Fixture changes for 15 January - Because the Sunday Senior Cup quarter final featuring Redmires v Fitzwilliam Arms (Rotherham) now has to be played on Sunday 15 January it means that the CBC Premier Division game Wadsley Bridge Pheasant v Redmires is postponed. It also means that the Division Two game Woodseats Chantrey v Colley will have to change its venue.
