25 SEP - CBC PREM - Norton hit the Wall as Redmires stay top - In a tight contest, Redmires stayed 100 per cent with a single goal win at Norton Oaks “A”. The only goal of the game coming when Mikey Taylor set up the mercurial Jon Wall and the playmaker of many a Redmires goal put the ball away. Action from the game is below.
Also unbeaten still are FC Handsworth Turf as they came away from Civil Sports “A” with a 3-0 win, a result that makes it three losses in a row for the 2011-12 champions. Turf took the lead after ten minutes, Jordan Stocks’ corner evaded the grasp of Civil keeper Joshua Branch and Russell Hobson snapped up the gift for his first Turf goal. Hobson then missed a penalty as the visitors continued to press. It was 2-0 in the early stages of the second, some delightful skill by James Leesley saw him net. In the closing stages, Turf got a third when David Sills tapped home his first goal from the club from close range. Civil were restricted to a couple of long range shots by Harley Wilson, and Gary Eades had one chalked off for offside. Alex Torr hit a hat-trick as Stannington Village brushed aside CBC Premier new boys Brinsworth Phoenix at Malin Bridge Gas Club. His first came from a Sean Flynn pass before Joe Howsham set him up for his second. The hat-trick was complete when Torr reacted first to a shot from Howsham which had hit the post. Danny Abdulla made it 4-0 with a drive from just inside the box before some great control from Flynn made it five. Howsham set up Piers Bond for his first goal in Stannington. Phoenix kept plugging away and got some reward when John Mellor netted from the spot, whilst Danny Smith added a seventh despite some great saves from Phoenix keeper Kieran Osbourne to deny double figures. Hallam got their first CBC Premier win with a superb 5-1 away win at much fancied Woodhouse Angel. Miles Howarth gave them a fifth minute lead from the spot only for Mike Towey to level just before the break. It was a game of free flowing football, and the visitors kicked on to score four in a second half purple patch. Goalscorers in that series being David France, Hotheya Gadour, Eamead Gadour and Jack Waddle. Brinsworth Whitehill came out on top in the final CBC Premier game of the day, 4-2 against a plucky City Taxis. The hosts were 2-0 ahead at half time with Ross Johnson netting a well struck low drive and then superbly chipping the Taxis keeper. Halfway through the second half Kiayani Clayton pulled one back for the visitors only for Brinsworth to reassert themselves with two more goals from Danny Willis and a hat-trick for Johnson. Clayton grabbed a second for Taxis but it was not enough. DIV 1 - Leaders held, but both Chapeltown and Woodseats close up - Ecclesfield Players Lounge and Oughtibridge WM shared six goals as did Ranch and Killamarsh Juniors. George Sheen’s free-kick gave Ecclesfield a half time which was doubled by Danny Barnett before Oughtibridge got back into it with a Callum Chambers penalty and a Simon Duckworth. Jon Tomlinson’s first for the club made it before Callum Simms levelled it again for 3-3. Oughtibridge could have won it but Ecclesfield were in debt to their keeper as he denied Chambers and Chaz Tunnard in the latter stages. Will Jones scored twice as Chapeltown RBL edged a seven goal thriller to win 4-3 at Intake Old Boys. Joe Wallace gave Intake the lead with a great strike from distance before Jones levelled with a header. A cool finish from Adam Clayton made it 2-1 to the hosts before Gavin Thorpe’s nicely flicked header and Jones squeezed home his second to give Chapeltown the lead. Darren Robinson levelled from the spot which had the visitors upset as they thought it had been a fair challenge before with seconds remaining Joe Moorhouse grabbed the winner after some great wing play by skipper Danny Cardwell. Nick Owen scored in each half as Woodseats Club recorded a 2-1 away win at AFC George. George’s solitary goal coming in the final stages from Lee Cotton. Tim Council went nap as his Penistone Church team won 7-1 at home to a Southey Social side not finding a return to Division One easy. Penistone were in charge from the get go and led 6-0 before Southey got a well taken consolation goal; Cameron Wyatt with a superb chip over the Penistone keeper. However the home side added a seventh as time was almost up. Also on target for Church were Tom Almond and former Stocksbridge Park Steels midfielder Mitchell Savage. Tom Hartley hit a couple for Ranch as they also had a 3-3 draw, with visitors Killamarsh Juniors. Liam Edge gave Killamarsh the lead only for Hartley to level just before the break. Ross Taylor gave the visitors the lead before Hartley’s second and a well worked goal finished by Tom Evans gave the hosts the lead. With a couple of minutes left, Killamarsh got a point when Joe Glover headed in a Taylor corner kick. In the other game DIV 2 - Goals galore but Sportsman stay top - Having hit eight the previous week against Civil Sports “B”, Cobden View hit another eight this time against Norton Oaks “B”. Alex Butt and Cav Rowland both notched trebles for Cobden whilst last week’s five goal Ben Bell and Higgins completed the rout; Matt Jessermino’s penalty for Norton was just pure consolation. Also hitting eight were Norton Sportsman who reeled it an 8-2 win at Steelers. Brad Bowland added another double whilst Callum Frith, Will Warhurst, Zak Wilson, Sam Kalajaye, Jack Waymouth and own goal made up the tally. Fraser Oxley and Dane Appleby were on target for the well beaten visitors. Action from the Steelers v Norton Sports game is below (pictures by Mick Moat).
Having conceded eight at home to the afore mentioned Cobden last week, Civil Sports “B” bounced back in brilliant style with a superb 6-2 win at Cadbury. The Civil boys were 5-0 to the good at half time thanks to a well taken hat-trick by Joe Taylor and singles from Jed Phillips and Ryan Haywood. Goals from Oxley and Vella gave Cadbury some respectability in the second half but Civil had a sixth thanks to an own goal. Jordan Coates gave Crookes and District a lead over Woodhouse Juniors but two from Adam Geelan, one a penalty, and Nathan McGuinness ensured three points for Woodhouse. Woodhouse Village scored five without reply as they dominated Woodseats Chantrey. Matt Fells gave them the lead before an own goal and Chris Salt made it 3-0 at half time. Despite having Perry Jackson sent off, Woodhouse remained in control and added further strikes from Nicky Christian and Andrew Saville. In the final game, The Shakey and Colley shared a 2-2 draw. Smith gave Shakey the lead only for Danny Booker to level with a bullet header. Redfearn restored the lead before half time, yet Anthony Marshall levelled in the second and Colley could have won it through Andy Hill only for the home keeper to deny time and time again. |

Played at Stocksbridge Park Steels Look Local Stadium, it was Phoenix that made the better start and Mellor had the game's first half chance. Mark Groves headed over as Ecclesfield finally got forward, but a mistake let Mellor in and after rounding the keeper he slammed the ball home for what turned out to be the only goal of the game.
Ecclesfield responded and Groves had a shot deflected wide before Scott
Spazjer just failed to connect with a cross. Further Ecclesfield
pressure saw George Sheen shoot wide and Osborne make the first of his
saves at the feet of a Danny Barnett clean through on goal, but it was
Phoenix that almost doubled their lead just before half time when a
Nicky Shaw free kick crashed against the crossbar.
The second half saw both sides have chances
without ever threatening to score until late in the game when Osborne
made two terrific saves from Ecclesfield's Craig Senior. Phoenix held on
to lift the trophy for the first time. Special praise should also go to
referee Gareth Thomas and his assistants Ryan Henger and Chris Rose, who
all helped the game to flow and help players and spectators alike enjoy
the game. The only other all-CBC Premier tie sees current leaders and former holders meet another former holder Civil Sports A. Another most local of derby's sees Woodseats Club entertain a Dale WMC that runs from the same Woodseats WMC. The winger opened the scoring when he beat his full-back for pace before driving a shot across the keeper into the far corner. Jamie Marshall doubled the lead with a shot from distance before Danny Reet’s free-kick made it 3-0 at half time. Danny Marcus pulled one back for Pheasant before Reet unselfishly set up Fulton for his second and make 4-1. Scott Whittington made it 4-2 but Norton saw the win out comfortably. Skipper David Haggerty scored his first goal for FC Handsworth Turf and it proved to be the only goal of the game at Mosborough “A”. Tom Crosby had a penalty saved in the first half for Turf, and then Russell Hobson was denied by a great save by the home keeper. James Leesley hit the crossbar but with just five minutes left on the clock; and extra time looming; Jordan Stocks’ cross was met by Haggerty’s bullet header to send Turf through. SUNDAY JUNIOR CUP - It's a full house for Blades Super Draw sides - It was a magnificent seven for the Blades Super Draw as all sides in Round 1 made it through to Round 2 of the Sunday Junior Cup. Penistone Church made it unlucky 13 for their opponents JP Steelers with a comprehensive win. Tim Council (left) led the scoring with four whilst Mitch Savage grabbed a hat-trick for himself. Brad Kemp and Callum Lee notched a brace apiece with Lewis Dickinson and Tom Almond completed the rout. After scoring ten last week, Colley hit the goal tally again with 7-1 home win over RVP Hillsborough. The visitors opened the scoring with a goal that left Colley bemused but Ridha Miladi’s first goal of the game equalised on half time. Colley then stepped it up in the second half, scoring six without reply. Miladi scored a second, James Malone with two - one a superb solo effort that saw him scythe his way through the visiting defence before chipping the keeper - whilst Faisal Miladi, Will Quince and Steve Dickinson added to the tally. Kieran Sykes-Tobin made it five in two games with a hat-trick for Woodhouse Juniors at Charnock Ridgeway U21’s; Lee Williams scoring the other in the 4-0 away win. Nick Owen scored twice for Woodseats Club as they won 3-2 at Manor New Style, Bryan scoring too in the same game whilst Sam Roberts and George Rudd both got a pair of goals apiece as Dale WMC won 5-2 at Hollybush: Shannon Marsland also on the scoresheet. A man of the match from Tom Wright saw Chapeltown RBL on their way to a 3-2 win at West End; Ryan Robinson and eventual match winner Joe Moorhouse also finding the net. Crookes & District completed a Blades Super Draw Junior Cup clean sweep as they overcame New Bohemians 4-2 on penalties after a 3-3 draw. Lwehla Say and Dario Tummins scored for Crookes as the normal period ended 2-2, with Say grabbing the leveller in extra-time after the visitors had gone 3-2 ahead. Onto the shoot-out Crookes remained calm, scoring four out of four before stand-in keeper Richard Slattery saved Bohemians’ fourth kick to send Crookes through. CBC PREM - Rocky at the double to keep Redmires on top - CBC Premier leaders Redmires made it three out of three with a 4-1 home win over Civil Sports “A”. Former Civil striker Rikki Davidson opened the scoring with a fizzer that arrowed into the top corner after just five minutes and then Civil keeper Joshua Branch failed to a ball forward; leaving Jon Wall an empty netter to make 2-0 at half time. Jake Gamban added an untidy looking third before a long range Harley Wilson free-kick pulled it back to 3-1 before Civil substitute Bleu Kelly had what looked a fairly legitimate goal washed out for offside. Moments later Davidson got his second of the day and fifth of the season to secure the win. Also yet to drop a point is Woodhouse Angel as they overcame newcomers City Taxis 3-0 away from home. Nick Haywood’s superb long range free-kick set the ball rolling and then Jonathan Williams hit the bar from just two yards out as Angel had the best of the first half. Taxis hit the bar themselves before Chris Towey slotted home Angel’s second from close range (first two pictures below) and Lewis Worrall’s looping header secured the points. More action from the game is below - pictures by Mick Moat.
Another winner away from home against divisional newcomers were Stannington Village as they bounced back from last week’s loss, beating Hallam 6-0. Alex Torr opened the scoring from a nice Bill Green through ball before a Joe Barker double made it 3-0 at half time. Former Hallam striker Joe Howsham added the fourth; Barker this time the provider; before goals from Adam Todd and a superb effort from Danny Smith when he cut inside three Hallam players and firing home an unstoppable shot - secured an impressive away win. In the Brinsworth derby, it was Whitehill who gained the early season bragging rights with a 3-0 away over Phoenix. The visitors dominated proceedings from start to finish, and two goals from Ross Johnson and one from Danny Willis in the first half had the game won there and then. Phoenix’s day was made worse in the second half when they were reduced to ten men: the home player being dismissed for violent conduct. DIV 1 - Townsend and Tomlin doubles help send Oughtibridge to the top - Just a couple of games in Division One. Oughtibridge WM scored eight at home to newly promoted AFC George, with Mark Townsend and Aidy Tomlin both scoring twice. Man of the Match Callum Simms (right), Strachan Sampson, Chaz Tunnard and Callum Chambers adding to the others. Ranch won by the odd goal in five at home to Ecclesfield Players Lounge. Connor Brunt and Michael Thomas scored for Ranch whilst Danny Barnett and Scott Spazjer traded goals back for Ecclesfield only for James Greenwood to show great composure to get the winner with just quarter of an hour left to play, while Andy Baxter missed a penalty for the visitors. DIV 2 - Bowland and Archer trebles take Sportsman to the top - It was the Ben Bell show as Cobden View scored eight at Civil Sports “B”. Bell scored five, including a penalty, as the visitors took maximum points. Two from Will Cutler and one from Lee Mansell finished the rout, while Joe Taylor scored Civil’s solitary reply. Also in the goals were Norton Sportsman as they went top by recording eleven without reply against a Shakey side that were in the game for the first twenty minutes. Norton then cut loose as both Brad Bowland and James Archer scored trebles, Michael Gibbons a couple and single from Andy Gibbons, Chris Winters and Jack Waymouth. An unexpected hat-trick hero proved to be central defender Greg Burgin (left) as Woodhouse Village won 4-0 at home to Cadbury. Burgin gave his side the lead with a header from a Ryan Simmonite corner and it remained that way at half time. The defender made it 2-0 with a blast from an indirect free-kick, Nicky Christian added a third before Tyrone Wilson was felled and Burgin completed a treble from the penalty spot. And finally Norton Oaks “B” bounced back from last week’s loss with a 6-2 win at home to Woodseats Chantrey. Nasa Meah, with a double, a Matt Bradley penalty, Joe Lawson, Michael Peake and Oli West were on target for Oaks whilst Jordan Sambrook scored Chantrey’s only goals – one from the penalty spot.
11 SEP - CBC PREM - It's a Rocky road to the top for Redmires, while Leesley helps Turf to see off Stannington - Two teams remain unbeaten after two games in the CBC Premier. Goals from 'Rocky' Davidson (right) and Danny Turner saw Redmires win 2-0 away at Brinsworth Whitehill. After the hosts had bossed the first 45 minutes, Redmires took the lead when Davidson scored his third of the season with a header from a pinpoint cross from Dale White. The points were secured late on when Danny Turner got his head to a Jake Gamban corner. Also unbeaten are FC Handsworth Turf as they recorded a superb 2-1 away win at four time CBC Premier champions Stannington Village. Joe Howsham went close for Stannington but Turf had a shot from James Leesley cleared off the line as the teams went into the break goalless. The visitors took the lead when Leesley sent debutant Fraser Morton clear and he calmly put his side ahead with a well executed lob. Alex Torr hit the post before Leesley produced a superb solo effort; jinking past three home players; to double Handsworth’s lead. Despite Sean Flynn scoring with a well taken free-kick, it was too little too late. Pictured left is FC Handsworth Turf manager Adam Johnson leading the celebrations after this victory had meant his side had beaten last season's top two in their first two games. More action from the game is below - pictures by Mick Moat.
Kane Doughty proved to be a game winner as current champions Wadsley Bridge Pheasant got back to winning ways, a 5-2 win at home to newly promoted Hallam. Doughty opened the scoring for the hosts and Luke Beedham strike doubled it to give Pheasant a 2-0 lead; a lead that could have been more if it wasn’t for the Hallam goalkeeper. Goals from Jack Waddle and Hothefya Gadour drew the visitors level but the hosts took advantage of some defensive sloppiness to secure their win thanks to Josh Statham, Joel Evans and Doughty’s second of the game. Woodhouse Angel began their season with a hard working 3-2 win at home against newly promoted Brinsworth Phoenix. Gareth Simons gave them the lead when he headed home a Jonathan Williams free-kick, which they held onto the break. Brinsworth missed a penalty early in the second half, but levelled matters when John Mellor chipped the keeper after latching onto a Joe Statham long ball. Brad Williams made it 2-1 when he bundled home from close range but Josh Aston equalised with a Phoenix’s second penalty of the morning. The winner came when Jonathan Williams supplied Jordan Rymell and he headed home. Despite Phoenix pressuring, Angel held on for the points. DIV 1 - Goals galore as four from Alex Rippon sends Intake top - Alex Rippon was a four goal star for Intake Old Boys as they edged home 5-3 against Ranch. He scored his first of the game when pouncing on a rebound after the Ranch keeper parried a free-kick into his path. Joe Wallace made it two with a good far post header before Rippon made it 3-0 at half time with a left foot finish. Ranch came back into contention with goals from Will Lemons, Josh Naylor and Michael Thomas and looked good value only to concede two more to Rippon; his third completing the perfect hat-trick. Brad Beatson scored a treble as his Chapeltown RBL side recorded a 6-3 away win at Dale WMC. Dale took the lead when Sam Roberts gave them the lead only for Beatson to level after a flowing move. George Rudd restored the lead for Dale only for Joe Moorhouse to put the sides level at half time. Three quick fire goals put Chapeltown 5-2 ahead; Beatson completing a well taken hat-trick and Andy Varns also scoring. Dale’s misery was complete when an own goal made it 6-2 but Rudd gave it a bit more respectability with his second in the dying moments of the match. Another player to hit a hat-trick was Callum Wood of newly promoted Killamarsh Juniors as they brushed aside home team Ecclesfield Players Lounge. A well struck shot from the edge of the area and a couple of bullet headers from Matt Stead crosses gave him his treble and Killamarsh a 3-0 lead. Andy Baxter scored with a superb chip from halfway but it wasn’t the result the home team wanted on the day Paul Bashforth and Scott Touhey started their sixteenth season and Mitch Robinson made a century of appearances for the club. AFC George were another newly promoted side that enjoyed a good win, 6-4 at home to Southey Social. George were quick off the mark with a couple of early goals before Danny Lindley scored his first of the game to reduce the arrears. Then it became a case of trading goals as George scored before Southey pulled one back, Lindley’s second and a Byron Mullen penalty making it 4-3. Two quick goals made it 6-3 George before Todd Guest made it a 6-4 game just before the end. Goalscorers for George were Shaun Waller, Damian Brown and Chris Blythen all with doubles. In the final Division One game of the day, Woodseats Club recorded a well earned 3-0 win at Oughtibridge. Jordan Haigh gave them the lead at half time with a header after the hosts had started the game the better. Daryl Beach almost levelled but the Woodseats goalkeeper stood tall, and the visitors secured the points thanks to goals from Nick Owen and a superb individual effort from Dan Hoyland. DIV 2 - Dempsey's five sends Colley top, while Salt peppers Shakey - Ragen Dempsey was the man for Colley as they ran riot over a plucky Crookes and District. The striker had a hat trick in the first fifteen minutes before Anthony Marshall extended that to five. Richard Slattery reduced that to 5-1 before Dempsey scored his fourth to make it six by half time. Dempsey’s fifth of the morning and Marshall’s treble made it eight, an own goal made it nine before Jack Wheywell went the full length of the pitch to bring up the magic double figures. Jordan Coates scored a penalty for Crookes’ second but that was just consolation. Chris Salt took his tally to five in two games as Woodhouse Village recorded a 5-1 away win at fellow league newcomers The Shakey. Adam Battle gave the hosts the lead after a mistake in the Village defence but that was about as good as it got for the hosts. Salt scored his first when man of the match Ryan Simmonite picked him out, and he found the net. Oliver Barrett made it 2-1 when he latched onto a loose ball, and then Salt completed a treble to put the game beyond doubt. Theo Wilson ensured the visitors would go nap when he picked up a ball over the top from skipper Lee Dolan. Civil Sports “B” proved to be too strong for a lacklustre Norton Oaks “B” team at Green Lane. Joe Taylor and Jed Phillips both scored twice in the 4-1 win for the hosts; Joe Lawson scoring Norton’s only goal. Keiran Sykes-Tobin scored twice to give Woodhouse Juniors the points, his second coming with five minutes left after Jordan Gummer had previously brought the home sides. Cadbury and Woodseats Chantrey shared the spoils with a 2-2 draw, Holmes giving the home team the lead but a 25 yard thunderbolt from Danny Lonsdale made it 1-1. Chantrey’s goalkeeper kept them in it before Farquharson restored the Cadbury lead only for Jordan Sambrook to secure a share of the spoils with a cool finish from the spot. Brad Bowland was the game winner as they secured a 1-0 at Cobden View in the division’s final game. |
4 SEP - CBC PREM - Champs get Turfed up - Defending CBC Premier Division champions Wadsley Bridge Pheasant suffered a surprise 3-0 defeat to FC Handsworth Turf as they started the defence of their crown. Pheasant had a chance in the opening minute but failed to capitalise, and moments later Tom Smith turned the ball home from Russell Hobson’s initial shot. The hosts doubled their lead in the 10th minute, man of the match Jordan Stocks curling home a 25 yard free-kick. James Leesley made three after a sweeping move to leave the champions reeling. Turf had more opportunities in the second half but failed to add to their tally. Danny Abdulla marked his debut for Stannington Village with the game winning goal at Civil Sports “A”. The defender struck just before half time with a curling effort which beat Joshua Branch in the home net. It was a game of very few clear cut chances though, Jack Ridge heading wide for Stannington and Gary Eades with Civil’s best opportunity that was saved smartly by Village’s Nathan Ryan A brace from Danny Reet (left) set Norton Oaks “A” on the way as they defeated newly promoted Brinsworth Phoenix 4-2. Ben Birtles denied Phoenix an early lead with a smart save from a penalty before Reet got the important touch on a Dale Kay corner to open the scoring. Coel Fulton made it 2-0 at the break when he drove a low shot home. Bradley Spencer’s long range thunderbolt made it 2-1 before Liam Paterson restored the two goal lead with a delightful chip. John Mellor reduced the arrears again before Reet scored his second to secure the points. Hallam’s first game in the top division ended in a 8-3 home defeat to Redmires. Some bad defending by the home team saw Redmires go into the break 4-0 up, Callum Frain’s penalty pulled one back for the hosts, then Adam Cawood added a second. Redmires reasserted themselves and added further goals. Cole Bonney scored a nice free-kick for Hallam’s third of the morning but eventually Redmires ran out convincing winners with Rikki Davidson, debutant Jake Gamban and substitute Chris Cottyn all getting braces with Jon Wall and Ben Graney completing the tally. Action from the game is below.
DIV 1 - Chambers double gets Oughtibridge off to winning start - Ranch and Intake Old Boys shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw. Jakob Burgin gave the home team the lead before Joe Lancashire headed Intake’s first equaliser after a free-kick wasn’t cleared. Connor Brunt restored Ranch’s lead early in the second half but Intake got themselves a point when from a corner Shaun Higginbottom headed into the net. Oughtibridge WM began life in Division One with a 2-1 away win at Southey Social. Callum Chambers opened the scoring for the visitors just before half time when he headed in a Strachan Sampson corner kick and then doubled his and Oughtibridge’s tally when he was picked out by Ross Brown to plant a header into the net. Matt Betts’ sweetly struck free-kick made it 2-1 and both teams had chances to score again, Todd Guest going narrowly close for Southey and veteran Matt Dodd crashing a header against the bar for Oughtibridge. DIV 2 - Colley and Cadbury start with a thriller, while Norton Oaks B see off Crookes - Goals a plenty as Colley and newcomers Cadbury shared eight goals. Ragen Dempsey gave the hosts the lead before Cadbury scored either side of the break to lead 2-1; the second a gift after a terrible error by the home keeper. Josh Connor and Dempsey’s second gave Colley the lead again only for Cadbury to level at 3-3 after another Colley mistake. Faisal Miladi gave Colley a 4-3 lead and it looked enough until both Colley central defenders went for the same ball with 2 minutes left, and Cadbury took advantage to get themselves a point. Norton Oaks “B” secured maximum points with a 3-1 home win over Crookes and District. Sam Wells gave them the lead after 20 minutes with a placed header into the top corner. Jonathan Chapman and Ryan Freeman added two in 5 second half minutes to extend the lead to 3-0 by the hour mark. Yet Crookes fought back and a superb solo effort by their man of the match Haydn Rahman to make it 3-1, yet despite further chances by Jack Rowley and Johnny Butler going begging – Crookes ran out of time and Norton held on. LEAGUE TWENTYTWO CUP - Newcomers come out on top - In the League Twentytwo Cup first round, Chris Salt scored a pair of headers to help Woodhouse Village overcome Steelers 5-1: Josh Tomkins, Greg Burgin and Perry Jackson also netted whilst Rhydian Watkins notched the visitors only strike. Salt also had a penalty saved. Andrew Redfearn was the match winner with a deflected strike that saw newcomers The Shakey win 1-0 at Woodseats Chantrey. A brace for Brad Bowland (left) helped Norton Sportsman into the next round, the hosts winning 5-0 over a lacklustre Civil Sports “B”. |
